The Psychology of Motivation

Motivation is a powerful driver behind human behavior, influencing how we set goals, make decisions, and take action. Another well-known theory is the Self-Determination Theory, which emphasizes the importance of autonomy, competence, and relatedness in fostering motivation. By understanding these principles, individuals can create environments that support their intrinsic motivation, set realistic and meaningful goals, and develop habits that keep them engaged and driven.
